An Ode To Audrey

2 Jan

My inspiration for today’s outfit came from one of my favorite instagramer’s new shop, apjshop. Check it out:

What i liked about the outfit aside from the fact that i have a very similarly shaped blouse and a tule skirt, is that the shape of the blouse is reminiscent of Audrey Hepburn’s style. I love the simplicity and elegance this outfit exudes, just like miss Hepburn herself.

My top is Kensie and was part of a dear friend’s donation pile a while back, and she thought it would be perfect on me. The skirt is from Strawberry. It used to be tiered the way the skirt in the inspiration outfit is, but after a while i felt it was too short on me so i had my mother take it apart and sew it back together into the shape you see today. I am lucky gal to have a seamstress at my fingers tips for…well…whenever she feels like helping a sister out. What do you think of my outfit? how well did i recreate the look?

Bisou,

Wendy Coral
